Oona Bruss (b. 2001) is an interdisciplinary artist hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area who focuses in silkscreen printing, photography and silversmithing. She graduated with a BA in Design and a minor in Studio Art from Tulane University in 2023. During her time in New Orleans, Oona began developing with her art practice and was in her first two group exhibitions, “Artists Respond: Post-Roe Louisiana” and “Tulane Undergraduate Juried Exhibition” (2022), where she won the Juror’s Award. After graduating from Tulane, Oona returned to California and began working at the Print Shop LA as a silkscreen instructor while continuing to grow her personal practice. Her art has been shown in exhibitions nationally since 2023. Upon completing her residency at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley, Oona relocated to Milwaukee, WI where she continues to make work and stay involved with the local print shop, Anchor Press, Paper, & Print, and artist collective, House of RAD.
